Percentage calculations are useful in many situations:
Percentage means "per hundred." It's a way of expressing a number as a fraction of 100. For example, 25% means 25 out of 100, or 25/100, or 0.25.
Multiply the decimal by 100 and add the % symbol. For example, 0.75 × 100 = 75%.
Divide the first number by the second number, then multiply by 100. For example, to find what percentage 15 is of 60: (15 ÷ 60) × 100 = 25%.
