How It Works
This calculator finds the total price you will pay after adding sales tax. It starts with the original price of the item and then adds a percentage of that price as tax.
The tax rate is divided by 100 to turn it into a decimal. That amount is multiplied by the original price, and then added back to the price to give you the final total.
